At ABCognify, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines your rights regarding returns and refunds, in accordance with European Union consumer protection directives.

1. EU Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason.

How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

  1. Contact us at returns@abcognify.com within 14 days of receiving your order
  2. Clearly state your wish to return the item(s)
  3. We will provide you with a return authorization and shipping instructions
  4. Return the item(s) within 14 days of notifying us

Conditions

  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, with all tags and accessories
  • The return shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer
  • We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

2. Extended 30-Day Return Policy

Beyond the statutory 14-day period, we offer an extended 30-day return window for all products. The same conditions apply as the EU withdrawal right above.

3. Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a defective or damaged product:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage
  • We will arrange a free return or send a replacement at no cost
  • Under EU law, you have a 2-year legal guarantee for product conformity

4. Wrong Item Received

If you received the wrong item:

  • Contact us immediately at support@abcognify.com
  • We will arrange a free return and send the correct item

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened software or digital products
  • Items damaged through customer misuse
  • Items without original packaging
  • Personalized or custom-made items

6. Refund Processing

  • Refund method: Original payment method
  • Processing time: 5-10 business days after we receive the returned item
  • Shipping costs: Original shipping costs are refunded only if the return is due to our error or a defective product

7. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. To get a different item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.
